The geforce2 GTS does not support compressed textures in hardware; the
driver decompresses to RGBA before sending the data to texture
memory. When you use compressed texture on a Geforce, you get the
lossiness of compression and the size of an rgba texture, the worst of
both worlds... For fast loading, use an RGB format.
