undefined symbol: stat

Hello, we currently suffer from a small problem: Anytime when we compiled a Performer App and try to execute following error message comes:

./perfly: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libpf.so.1: undefined symbol stat

we are using RH 7.1/Performer 2.4/Libc2.2.2-10/XFree 4.0.3/NVIDIA Geforce3
