ulocks.h and barriers

I have some barrier code in my performer application. I'm porting to Linux
and I noticed that the Performer package includes ulocks.h which has the
declaration for all the barrier functions. But when I link, I get unresolved
references for the barrier routines. Are these available? Is so, where are
they? I noticed that there are some pfuBarrier routines in Performer 2.4.
Should I be using these instead?
