Except that the Quadro/Quadro2 run at a higher clock rate, have better and
faster RAM and that by adding a resistor you annihilate your warranty.

There are also some software ways (at least under windows) to convert your
GeForce into 'Quadro' but you'll lose support for those 'patched' drivers.

So it's not valuable to use a modified GeForce for professional purposes.
Better get a Quadro2 MXR, Quadro2 Pro or a Quadro2 DCC... you'll get a
professional support for those cards, special supported drivers for
CAD/Modelling, ... and the board manufacturing has a better quality (RAMs,
chip quality, DVI output quality, ...) than a end-user GeForce which is
mainly tuned and supported for gaming purpose.
