plot3d file loader

Hi all,

I've just been asked to write a loader for a data file in PLOT3D foramt.
Actually, this isn't what they asked for, but it's what they really want.

Anyway, before I dive in, I was wondering if such a loader has already
been written, and if so, if it's freely available and how to get it.
