Hi,
Perhaps you can have a look to RenderPark. I think I used it a bit when
it was
still called "Rad", it implements several radiosity methods :
   http://www.cs.kuleuven.ac.be/cwis/research/graphics/RENDERPARK

At the time I was working on that there was not agreement in the
community
to have a common software or even a common file format (regular 3D file
format are not sufficient, because you need reflectance parameters for
the materials, light models, ...). It was still a research issue.

I have somewhere my source own code (simple progressive implementation
with
NFF input files), which use to run on in parallel on a big Origin 2000
connected
to an Onyx for visualization. If you are interested ...
