Actually, there are also PCI versions of GeForce2MX cards, and it is
possible to configure a machine with more than one. I also asked about
this a few weeks ago, and didn't get an answer, so I'll re-inquire:
I set up a Linux machine with 3 PCI nVidia cards, and was able to run
plain OpenGL programs on them successfully, but when trying multi-head
Performer apps, I got the error
PF Warning(2): Linux: pfMultipipe(2) ignored - Not supported
Since it was just a short-term test, I was using the evaluation version of
2.4. Would it have worked with the full, licensed version of 2.4, or if
not, will this be corrected in future releases?
(Yes, I realize that the performance won't be so great, but it would still
be useful for certain low-budget applications.)
