On iR round points are on because multisample antialiasing is on. The
hardware is designed to do subpixel equal weighting across multiple
fragments.
You may be able to turn them off my forcing pfTransparency to off, but
I'm not sure if the fragments are even there. i.e. it may not be
possible to turn it off. It's not just doing an alpha to mask conversion
of transparency, it really has subpixel round points, so I don't think
it's transparency which is setting the fragments and weighting. You
could perhaps try to turn of multisampling in the gl but they won't
antiaias with the rest of the scene.
Cheers,ANgus.
