Performer provides an example program in
/usr/share/Performer/src/pguide/libpf/C/stats.c

This program, untouched, when asked to display CPU statistics (via a
hotkey), gets an answer of zero for everything.

I had posted previous messages about this with my code, but this is a
concrete example of statistics not working right.

Also, there is a sample program called pipestats somewhere in pguide. It
also gets back 0 for pipe timing.

My general findings are that simple things, like triangle counts, number of
geosets, etc... Can either be drawn or queried directly. Almost any complex
timing issue comes up zero, even in performer sample code.

Does anybody know why? Are there MP issues that were not considered when the
samples were written (I get same results with my own stuff running SP).

This is on an onyx2, running 6.5.10 with the associated 2.2.x version of
Performer.

Thanks,
