Hi!

This question is out of topic but I am sure many of you guys have encountered the same problem.

I need to do real-time fullscreen framecapturing 1280x1024 on an SGI O2. It is absolutely necessary to maintain that resolution, I cannot lower the resolution to PAL or NTSC. On the other, as long as the resolution is maintained, a capturing rate of 5HZ is full acceptacle.

I manage to do framecapturing of a 640x480 portion of the using the dmrecord utility. It seems that the JPEG compression hardware on the O2 is not capable of handling more than 640x480 in resolution. Is there any workaround on that?

Has anyone solved this problem or know of any other technique that might solve this problem?
