MPEG2-playback on IRIX

Hej !

Sorry, a completely irrelevant question:
Are there currently any available, free SDKs for mpeg1/2-decoding for IRIX
(except for libmpeg2 from www.linuxvideo.org, I am already playing around
with that one) ?

Or, even better: is there any opensource project for an MPEG1- or
MPEG2-player that currently supports IRIX or has built its player with
portability in mind ?

If you can recommend me a good mailing list for that where my questions
fit better, please tell me so :-)
