Can't you use the 3ds format directly ??? The problem is that the origin is
not saved in your obj file. If you use 3ds Performer will use the 3ds origin,
i.e. if you have the origin in the cube's middle in 3ds, Performer will load
the cube with its middle into the origin.
The same should work with OpenFlight.
Those formats also support faces and vertices.
