Our VRML2.0 loader that shipped with Performer 2.2 was extremely out of
date.. The one that ships with Performer 2.4 is up to date...
Here are the nodes supported by the geometry loader:
Appearance, Billboard*, Box, Collision, Color, Cone, Coordinate,
Cylinder, DirectionalLight*, ElevationGrid*, Extrusion*, Fog*,
FontStyle, Group, ImageTexture, IndexedFaceSet, IndexedLineSet,
Inline*, LOD*, Material, Normal, PixelTexture*, PointLight*, PointSet,
Shape, Sphere, SpotLight*, Switch, Text, TextureCoordinate,
TextureTransform, Transform
Nodes marked with an asterisk(*) are supported in commercial version
only.
The latest free demo versions can always be found via anonymous ftp
here:
ftp.openworlds.com
get merchant/owmerchant_sp22_demo.tar.gz (Performer 2.2)
-or-
get merchant/owmerchant_sp24_demo.tar.gz (Performer 2.4)
The commercial version only costs $500, and you can order it from our
web site, or by emailing mailto:sales++at++openworlds.com
