Dear sirs,
Let me try this again.
I find that my application runs quickly on a single processor, single channel impact 2 machine. However, when I try to run the application in a muiltiple pipe CAVE library situation (ONYX 2), the performance is very poor.
I find that the processor dedicated to the COMPUTE process is at 95% utilization during execution. The documentation suggests that this process is running asynchronously, so this shouldn't be a big problem. Is there something I have to do to ensure
that the COMPUTE process is running asynchronously?

The documentation suggests that using ASDattach() will reduce memory and processing requirements. However, this appears to increase the CPU demand of the application process and slows the frame rate even more. Is there something I do not understand
about using pfASD in a multiprocessor/multichannel environment?

Thank you in advance for your feedback,
Alex Hill
