Yossi,

I had this problem at one time and the way I had to fix it was to run
my program executable from within the directory my textures resided.
My understanding is that setting the TXTPATH environment variable to
your texture directory should take care of this, but I never had any
luck doing it that way. So, simple enough. Just cd to your texture
directory and run your program from there.

Subject: Cliptexture database problem.

Hi,

I'm using Multigen Creator II for the creation of a graphical database
that
uses
a cliptexture (.ct) file.
I am running with an Infinite Reality Engine on an Onyx computer.

I created the cliptexture file with the clipgen tool.I made sure that
the
.ct format was 1.0.
Then, I used Multigen in order to apply that .ct file to a .flt file
created from terrain elevation data.

My problem is :when I run the resulted flt file with clipfly, I saw the
cliptexture applied to the databae, but
the texture resolution did not get better as long as I advanced my
eyepoint
over the database.
(The texture resolution remained statical).

Could you please help me with this problem ?

Thank you very much in advance,
     Yossi Kadosh, Software Engineer, BVR
Systems.
