Hi,
I am projecting a texture over a sort of building model as you can see
on the attached picture and I am experiencing some trouble with the
projective texture. I use the pfLightSource class to project the
texture.
The texture is drawn over a white background, thus you can see the
extent of the textured area which is surrounded by white. When looking
at the bottom left corner one can see an artefact as if the pattern was
repeating over and over( I don t really know how to describe it - That s
why I attached the picture). Does anybody know how to correct this ?
(Note that I already use the PFTEX_CLAMP flag for my texture).
My second question is about the second type of artefacts that you can
see on the top of the image. Indeed you can notice some white spots,
obviously coming from the projected texture whereas the top of the image
should lie outside of the projection frustum - this part of the scene
isn't behind the pfLightSource either. Does anybody have an idea about
this ?.
My last question should be easier I hope. I d like to apply the
projected texture such as the white area in the texture doesn't change
the final color of the rendering. The ideal would be a kind of color
multiplication for the texturing. Is this possible using projective
textures with performer ?
I know I have a lot of questions, Thank you for your help you all,
Stephane
PS: Concerning my last post, I found out that enabling the convolution
extension before a subload was just working fine - Thanks again Angus.
