Hi, pfFriends,
In an effort to increase our investment on graphics
software, we have made some management structure
changes in order to expend our software teams in the future.
I am put to be in charge of the Core Rendering Group
which consists of Performer, Shader, Volumizer, Optimizer
and other graphics APIs, collaboration, and multipipeSDK.
So, I am going to move away from my favorite product
Performer, only slightly.
Allan Schaffer is promoted to be the engineering manager.
I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with Allan.
I am confident that Allan will do a great job leading
Performer to future successes.
It's hard to say goodbye to Performer, even though it is
only a very small goodbye. Afterall, it's been seven and
a half years since I first worked on the product.
Luckily I am not going very far, only 3 offices down the hall.
I want to thank all of you, our Performr friends out there,
that have supported me in the past.
I was very nervous when I first took over the team.
It's your loyal support to Performer that made the hard times
easier and the good times even sweeter.
Allan and I are going to be at ITEC in a week. We are looking
forward to seeing many of you.
