Performers,

I almost have performer working with RH7.0 and a GeForce 2. (Thanks
Tom!). A few questions:

We have some choices on kernel, xfree86 and gcc versions, what is
recommended?

Is there some benefit in using SGI linux (1.1) or propack? (its a 2.2.10
kernel with sgi's bug fixes, nvidia says we must have 2.2.12 or later).

What are the features missing from the free/demo/download version of
performer vs. purchasing a licencensed copy?

Randy Dawson

PS I want to use performer to simulate some famous wooden
rollercoasters; I have dozens of plans and blueprints and have already
done this the hard way without a tool like performer. It was a
screensaver waaaay back in the '90s...
