Hi there,
I have a performer app that works fine on SGI machines.
I compiled it on Linux (Redhat 7.0) with
XFree86-4.0.1
NVIDIA_GLX-0.9-769
NVIDIA_kernel-0.9-769
gcc-g77-2.96-54
gcc-c++-2.96-54
gcc-objc-2.96-54
gcc-2.96-54

The models and textures load fine and the window comes up
displaying the first scene. But after a couple of seconds I
get the following core dump in pfSync.

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x40643500 in pfStats::pr_collectHWStats () from
/usr/lib/libpf.so.1
Current language: auto; currently c
(gdb) where
#0 0x40643500 in pfStats::pr_collectHWStats () from
/usr/lib/libpf.so.1

argc=2, ubp_av=0xbffff7c4, init=0x8064dd4 <_init>, fini=0x80b70c8
<_fini>,
    rtld_fini=0x4000df24 <_dl_fini>, stack_end=0xbffff7bc) at
../sysdeps/generic/libc-start.c:111

Perfly runs fine on my machine.

The app is compiled with (gcc -0 -g). I could not get it to
compile without the "-O" because the Performer libs would not link
in.
Do I need debugged performer libs to get my app to compile in
debug mode?

Thank you for any info, suggestions that anyone might have ...
