There is also a plugin for MultiGen Creator that will convert any TrueType
font into OpenFlight format geometry. Of course, it requires that you have a
copy of Creator.
This is from the help file...

The True Type Text plug-in for MultiGen Creator allows you to create 2D or
3D text in your database based on any True Type Font loaded on your system.
The text geometry created is similar to other geometry, so you can modify it
with any geometry tools. To create geometry based on a True Type font, you
select the font to use, enter the text, then specify its location in the
database.

Those are the only two I'm aware of. We went looking for more styles
when packaging the data directory for Performer 2.4 but didn't know
how they were generated. Thanks for the tip: Haeberli tools. :-)
