Hi,

Max format is completely useless without Max itself, as it contains no rwal
data, but merely parameters for algorithms/procedures defined in Max.
Building a Max file format converter therefore would mean rebuilding Max for
80%.

So: no converters are available, just Max plugins to export to other files.

Hope this helps.

Jo

Subject: 3D Studio Max importer/ converter

Hello pfALL,

Does anybody knows about - has a converter/importer for
3D Studio Files - not those with the extension *.3ds (which are
supported by Performer),
but with an extension *.max (Their content is binary)

Any Clue?

Thanks in advance,

Günter
