hi,

You have to make the Performer' "shared arena" the bigger as possible.
To do so check for your actual memory (with top), and
set your PFSHAREDSIZE environnement variable to the available
amout of memory in bytes, NOT including swap.
(Ex: if top gives 500M, do "setenv PFSHAREDSIZE 500000000")

Note that for a big project, a 64bit pfconf is better than a 32bits
one, because 32bits is limited to 1Go (see /usr/demos/Performer/bin/* ).
