Is there any NURBS capability built into Performer, or do I have to
implement it entirely on my own? I can manually do all the
calculations easily, but I would like to effectively make a pfNURBS
geometry C++ class which uses the appropriate glu methods of OpenGL
during the draw phase rather than my own calculations made somewhere
in the app phase. If I do this, I need to place things into a
display list correctly so that I'm not doing a recalculation of the
whole surface during each render pass. Is it more efficient for me
to just calculate the vertex values once and place them into a tstrip
pfGeoSet? I'm not as familiar with creating custom Performer
geometry nodes which need their own draw methods. Any good
suggestions of places to look for doing this on my own?
Thanks,
Chris
