Hi,
I’m working on an augmented reality application and need to modify the
depth-buffer before rendering the scene. I use the function
glDrawPixels(...,GL_DEPTH_COMPONENT,GL_FLOAT,..), in the drawcallback of
my Performer application. It works, but the performance is poor. The
framerate slumps from 25 fps down to 6fps on an O2. The size of the
image is 720,576. Does anybody know how to increase performance? Or is
this the best you can get?

Thanks in advance, Carsten Winkelholz
