Well I just have a single channel in the Thermal section. Your
requirement to add more poses an additional problem which Performer
handles well.

You need the same scene with multiple appearances for different sensor
types. This can be done using separate scenes, but an easier way would
be to use the same scene with multiple geostates using the supported
indexed geostate tables. This way you can support different sensor types
on the same data by describing color geostates & textures for one
channel (visible) and black & white geostates with appropriate sensor
response to temperature in another channel (ir).
