Hmm, it should just work. Try setting your PFNFYLEVEL to 7 and
PFLD_LIBRARY_PATH to /usr/lib/libpfdb/. That should spit out some extra
debug messages about what it's looking for when trying to dlopen the
loader. I suspect, it's failing due to an unresolved symbol (the most
common reason for failing). Make sure you have the latest version of
Inventor from oss.sgi.com. If that still fails, you can try building the
loader and see if that fixes anything (the source is in
/usr/share/Performer/src/lib/libpfdb/libpfiv). If things still aren't
working, lemme know.
