Hello all,
I still remember performer-info mail exchange about genlock synchronisation
Onyx's pipes last year.
Now we are facing the same problem. We have to run 4 channels application
on 2 pipes Onyx2 with
continuous screen. We have done :
1. Pipe 0 is connected by 13W3+2BNC adaptor and coax cable (55 Ohm ) to
Pipe1 to Genlock IN connector.
(13W3+2BNC adaptor has lable 018-0834-002 Rev. A , but coax cable has to
be connected by H sync BNC connector !! ;
by V sync BNC is not able to syncronize the second pipe)
2. With /usr/gfx/ircombine we set external source for pipe 1. Pipe 1 is
running genlocked with pipe 0. /usr/gfx/gfxinfo -vv
says : Source : External Genlocked : True (Should be genlocked)
3.We run perfly -G town.pfb (G means gangdraw ); When pipes are not
genlocked , performer warns about
shifting phase between pipes when running multipipes apps , now after
genlocking is silent -> pipes should be genlocked.
BUT runnig perfly the image on the edge bettween pipes is jumping,
skipping .... -> pipes do not swap the same buffer on the same
time . Why ?
Can somebody help me ?
