problem with pfmakerules

I've found that you define VPATH variable at scope of pfmakerules.
It is very unconvinient to use this makefiles when you
develop new project or port apps in Linux.
Because, generally speaking, project can consist of a lot of
subdirectories with sources are needed for one target.
Unfortunately VPATH variable hasn't additive effect as it takes place
with .PATH directive
Maybe it would possible to move VPATH definition to pfmakedefs ?
This trick will able to remove this problem
