Texture Problems

Hi,

Due to system constraints, I have to use Onyx VTX (1GB system memory) with
Performer 2.0.
During the initial loading of objects, they appear with texture on it.
However, in the subsequent loading, the texture of the objects disappears.

What could the possible cause of the missing texture?
And any solutions?
