That does seem to be the most likely reason, a conflict between the
FlexLM routines in VR-Link and the ones in our DSOs. From the
message, it is failing in the FlexLM routine lc_new_job(), which is
the most basic of the initialization routines -- so it must be
calling into another binary-incompatible version.

We'll have a look into it. Actually, if any of the VR-Link folks are
on info-performer and will be attending IITSEC, please drop by the
SGI booth and find me. :-)
