I am looking to develop applications that will
open multiple Performer and OpenGL windows, and
simple GUI windows on a black background. It seems
logical to use a motif main window for the background
and create XmFrames or some other managing widgets for
the OpenGL and Perfomer windows. This keeps the application
together as a unit instead of a bunch of dis-associated
windows. After looking at the motif.C example, I should
be able to fork the performer windows off, keeping the
motif process separate.
Is there alot of overhead mixing Motif and performer using
the glwMDrawingAreaWidget versus calling pfOpenPWin? Is there
a better way? Are there any gotchas opening multiple glw widget
areas for Performer to use?
Thanks,
Will
