As I said, this function is available starting with pf2.3.
In our terminology, 2.3 > 2.2.x

This means that until pf2.4 comes out, you can only use pfLOD::setUserEvalFunc
in the Linux port of Performer.

Stay tuned for news on the new pf2.4. It's right around the corner.
