I downloaded the performer software package from SGI on my linux
box and kicked its tires by running perfly. Very nice. The part
which I find frustrating is lack of documentation, especially when it
comes to the data format files which perfly will read. What I would
like to do is write a file in ascii describing some basic shapes with
scale and co-ordinate information. Does such a file type already exists
which perfly understands?

Thanks. Steve.
