Hi there,
One of the tips in the performer manuals says that for best
results, specify ranges (pfLOD) only where necessary; give
browsers as much freedom as possible to choose LODs based on
performance and system stress.
Can someone elaborate a little bit on this one.
I set up a pfLOD node without ranges at all and none of the lods
show up. Then I only set up the first and the last ranges, and the
lod never switches to the high level. It always stays with the
low.
When I setup the correct ranges then it works as expected.
I only have 3 objects under the LOD node.
So what does the tip mean?
Thank you.
