Hello Sid,

I got this answer from Tom Flynn some time ago on that topic and it worked
for me:

libGLw.a and associated header files (GLwMDrawA.h) will generally come
with the OpenGL implementation. Unfortunaly, GLw is often a forgotten
child and you gotta look for it in the OpenGL distribution. For example,
under IRIX I often had to do a search with the "search files" button
clicked on the CD with opengl_dev in order to find it and install it. For
Mesa, you often have to compile it yourself. Grab a .tar.gz of the
version of Mesa you have and cd into the "widgets-sgi" directory (if it is
still called that now) and do a "make linux". Copy the resulting libGLw.a
into /usr/lib and headerfiles into /usr/include/GL.

I hope that helps and thanks Tom.
Yuri.
