Can you make a viewpoint file?

I know how to make a path file for perfly to use. But I was wondering if
anyone knew how to make a "viewpoint" file. Similar to the viewpoints that
you have in VRML. I have a customer who wants to be able to reposition or
re-locate to different perspectives within a small database to verify the
positions of some features without having to fly to them. They want to
"jump" from one position to the next.
