I had the same problem on a linux station, while porting the tcl-wrapper
of performer. The ldd was saying the __ucmpdi2 was undefined in the
"libpftcl.so" library (a part of the wrapper). I soved the problem
passing the -E option to the linker ("-Xlinker -E"), which force all
sysmbols to be added to the symbols table It seems to me, executables
(like perfly) links in a different way the libgcc.a archive, so that
this symbol is exported to the performer libraries, which for some
strange reason (I'm a profane) have this symbol unresolved: problably
they've been linked with a libgcc.so library, not available on my system
(RedHat2).
