Essentially.
But you should look a little deeper. If memory serves me correctly, the
header file is "/usr/include/Performer/prMath.h" but I am not certain. Once
you find the Performer math header file, look at it and search for "Shoemake"
which is (memory again) about half way down. The references are given in
the comment. Ken Shoemake is a gifted mathematician and I recommend
exploring his derivations in Graphics Gems and elsewhere.
There is also an excellent description of SLERP and SQUAD in the
Watt & Watt book. (Written post-Performer)
Also, the man page for pfQuat explains this reasonably. (FYI: At the bottom
of that page, in the "references" section, is one of the several little jokes in
the documentation intended to lift the spirits of developers during dark
nights of debugging. I wonder how many have been noticed in the past
eight years of Performer?)
