Quincy,
What you need to do, since the mouse coordinates are 2D and
world coordinates are 3D is to construct a pfSeg from the eyepoint,
through the mouse coordinates and into the display area. Use
the channels frustum to construct this segment. Wherever
that pfSeg intersects with the model, that will be the coordinates
you want.
