Sure, it's possible to do that. Just save each rendered frame by calling
pfuSaveImage then use, for example, MovieMaker on IRIX to make a QT or
MPG movie.

Remember to save the files on a *local* disk. Even then the frame rate
will drop so that interactive use is almost impossible. OK if you have
fixed or predefined camera positions but for interactive use you could,
like me, save camera motions and play then back frame-by-frame during
recording.
