from the man page:

"pfGetFrameRate returns the current system frame rate (pos
sibly rounded) previously set by pfFrameRate. Note that
this is not necessarily the same as the achieved frame
rate."

i am using PFPHASE_FLOAT

how can i get the "achieved" frame rate?
