So, you are on your own, then.

Tom tells me that you are working in Linux. If that is so, then the memory
allocated in the Performer arena is not really shared between your parent
process and the forked process. My example as well as complex.C will then
fail.

So, I've modified my example and used my own shared memory. I've tested it and
it works. You may opt to figure something out that doesn't work... its your
time, but if you want to start with a working example, check:
