Hi,
The DTK portion of DIVERSE (the part that deals with input devices)
currently works under Linux. If all you need is input, you can use DTK
all by itself.
I expect to have dgiPf, the Performer part of DIVERSE, working on Linux in
a couple of weeks. Just before running out the door to SIGGRAPH we got a
clean compile. When we get back to the office on Monday we'll see what
happens when we try and run something.
We also hope to tie in VRPN as one of DTK's services as soon as possible-
this might also be of benefit to you.
VRJuggler might be a good, or even better, choice too. It all depends on
your needs, and what fits into your existing program structures.
If you have any specific questions about DIVERSE's capabilities, please
drop a line to diverse++at++vt.edu.
Thanks,
-John
