Hello,

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I am running a Performer application on a Onyx IR deskside with irix 6.5,
Performer 2.2. The application will run once fine, but later when I go back
to run it, I get a

pfMemory::new() Unable to allocate 540688 bytes from arena 0x5ffff8000
Try using pfSharedArenaSize() or env PFSHARESIZE.......

the console says:

out of logical swap space during autoreserve for mmap file -see swap().

Once this happens the app will not run again. There is almost a gig of disk
space left and half a gig of memory on this system. This application runs
fine on our Octanes up to the Onyx2 IR.....

I do remember in that base some strange behavior on the old onyx deskside
and setting an arena start location or something?

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks.

Rob
