Bram,

I looked up your problem on our internal database and found the following
workaround:

patch1447 removes a symnbol from libGLcore.so and does not create a new
libFGL.so. when compiling
fortran programs the symbol is unresolved and no fortran opengl will
compile. 5.3 patch 1333 has the
same problem. see case notes for how to determine that the symbol is
unresolved.

setting the environment variable _RLD_FLAGS=-ignore_unresolved at runtime
should correct the problem.

i'm still looking at the database for the permanent solution!
