Colin,

Thanks for your response. I was attempting to use the variety of paged
ASD demonstrations
that have been posted on the mailing list and that were included with
the linux Performer.

I am new to Performer and I suppose couldn't really interpret fully the
release notes describing
limitations to the linux Performer to assess whether ASD's were
supported or not. I did, though,
naively assume that the code distributed with linux Performer would at
least work!

From my tests, simple ASD demos do seem to work (ASD_align, ASD_decal)
but not
any that use paging. I hope someone can prove me wrong on the latter
-- I am working on a project where I will need to access a large terrain
database with several LOD.
