I have managed to get a mirror effect using pfTexture::subload. It was
working fine.
I used a dummy texture to initialize a quad. Using the subLoad with the same
texture size seems to be working with a little overhead. I will suggest
adding some keyboard feedback to chanhe your subload parameters so that you
will have a good understanding of how subload works.
http://www.dorbie.com has some hints about the use of subLoad. There is also
an opengl level version of subload which I did never need to use.
This works fine on Indigo2 and Onyx2. Not all implementations of OpenGL are
that fast about subload. Most PC Cards slow down significantly.
Regards.
