OK, a few things:

  - You are indeed using the DSO versions (elfdump wouldn't show
    the Performer libraries otherwise)

  - elfdump showing sgi4.1.447 seems strange. Memory is vague, I
    think that's Performer 2.2.1. If you haven't recompiled in a
    long time, it may simply be showing that you compiled against
    2.2.1, and have since upgraded. Or this might be the key item,
    that you still have 2.2.1 loaded.

  - "versions performer_eoe" will tell you what Performer version is
    loaded.

  - from "uname -R" you can deduce the appropriate performer version too.
