Problem with pfMaterial while fade out

Hi,

I am trying to fade out a model of a room. This seems to be working fine
except that there is an artifact. I traverse thru the geosets and store
the pointers of all pfMaterials. Later on I change the alpha of the each
pfMaterial in the list. The problem is there is a change in the look of
the model after first call to theMaterial->setAlpha. It looks like the
normals change, but I can not really determine the reason for the
change.

What could be the problem ?
