I need the extra precision provided by the double float type when I use
gluLookAt() and glTranslated(), so that the ModelView matrix is updated
with all available precision.
However, can I assume the operations on the ModelView matrix will always be
done in double precision (as requested) or some OpenGL drivers can be
stubborn and do all calculations in float.
